SETTLING YOUR CHILD

We encourage families to visit prior to beginning with us – to become familiar with the environment, meet the staff, and have the opportunity to ask questions and collect enrolment forms. We recommend a positive attitude when settling children – explain to them what will happen, and let them know when you are leaving (but that you will be returning). Your child may feel more secure being left with a particular staff member. After experiencing the routine of a parent returning, and beginning to build up a trusting relationship with the teachers, settling should become easier. However every child is different and we can discuss alternative strategies with you.

Once your child is settled, feel free to visit whenever you like. We have an open-door policy and you are welcome to become involved.
